respect of the action against the said Wong Shing should be treated as a Judgment in respect of all the said actions.
12. The said action against the said Wong Shing was duly heard by the Full Court of Hongkong on the 23rd day of May 1900 when Judgment was reserved.

On the 29th day of June 1900 Judgment was delivered by the Full Court in favour of the Defendant (the said Wong Shing) to the effect that he the said Wong Shing as an inhabitant of the said District had a right to search for and obtain corals and shells in that District notwithstanding the agreements of the 14th October 1899,

By a Government Notification No 737 appearing in the Hong Kong Government Gazette of the 28th November 1902, notice was given that under the Foreshore and Sea bed Ordinance 1901, His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong proposed granting under the said Ordinance, Leases of two adjoining lots of sea bed or land covered by the sea situate off the eastern shore of the Island of Lantao in the New Territory of the Colony of Hongkong to be known and registered in the Land Office as Lantao Marine Lots Nos 1 and 2 such leases to be granted for the term of ten years from the expiration of the notice upon the surrender of the sai two agreements mentioned in paragraph 7 hereof. It was further notified that all persons having objections to the granting of such two leases must send in their objections in writing to the Colonial Secretary before the 28th February 1903 in order that the same might be considered by His Excellency the Governor in Council.

In compliance with such notice, your petitioners or some of them on behalf of your petitioners duly sent in their objections in writing to the Honourable Francis Henry May Colonial Secretary, through their Solicitors Messieurs Wilkinsor and Grist which objections were as we have been informed by the said Messieurs Wilkinson and Grist considered by His Excellenc the Governor and rejected.
